If it were in live-action, the French animated import April and the Extraordinary World which begins its rollout in U. French artist and writer Jacques Tardi, who created the mildly better-known-Stateside heroine Adele Blanc-Sec, originally called his book April and the Twisted World , though his meaning of "twisted" was a bit more benign than ours tends to be, hence the change in translation.
